Sixth Grade Teacher | Junior High (6-8) ELA | Student Council Moderator

Hello! I am the 6th-grade Homeroom Teacher and 7th & 8th-grade Literature Teacher. I have taught at St. Mel school for the past 16 years. In addition, I serve as the Student Council moderator, as well as the Director and a teacher of the Summer Adventure program. Both of my kids attended and graduated from St. Mel school. Growing up in the small, coastal town of Mendocino, I ventured out to attend college in the big city of San Francisco at USF. While in college, I had the privilege of spending my junior year in Oxford, England. Following college, I volunteered for a year in Carlsbad, New Mexico where I taught 4th grade. More adventures followed when I moved east to attend graduate school in Washington, D.C. at the Catholic University of America. I have a passion for teaching and reading and love St. Mel school! I am privileged to say I love my job, love my faith, and love being able to be part of your child’s journey of life.
