Laying the Academic Foundation

Elementary School: Kindergarten-5th Grade

Creating a strong academic, spiritual, physical, and emotional foundation for students is the goal of our curriculum in K-5th grade. Daily class instruction includes mathematics, language arts (reading, grammar, spelling), social studies, science, and religion, and many of these subjects integrate computer skills into daily lessons. The weekly curriculum includes art, music, PE, Spanish, dedicated instruction in computer technology, as well as library time. In addition, certain grade levels receive instruction in Family Life and Sacramental preparation. Our K-5th grade students, as well as our 6th-8th grade students, are provided with:

  • Accelerated Reader Program supported by STAR assessments
