As first time parents, with our child always being cared for in our home, we were extremely nervous about finding the right preschool for our three year old. From the moment we stepped into the preschool environment at Saint Mel, we knew we had found the place where our daughter would be protected, loved, and cared for. Quite simply, this felt like the natural extension of our family, and the perfect next step for our daughter developmentally and socially. We feel strongly that her time at Saint Mel is giving her the best foundation to be curious, confident, and a life-long learner. There can be no better choice for a family than to enroll their child at Saint Mel Preschool.
We can’t say enough about Saint Mel Preschool and the exceptional teachers and staff that are committed to teaching our children to learn, serve and succeed. You can tell this preschool is special from the moment you walk in the door. There are happy children, and a staff that looks out for each child’s well-being. Our son has thrived at the preschool for two years and loves going to school to see his friends and teachers. The staff provide a balanced education that combines learning through play that is rooted in our Catholic Faith. The lessons are fun and engaging, but also establish the building blocks for the children’s formal education. The close bond that is felt between staff and families here at Saint Mel Preschool, has made us feel welcome from day one. We would highly recommend Saint Mel Preschool to other families, and we certainly have.
It’s called a preschool, but what Saint Mel Preschool offers is so much more than a name can convey. All the wonderful teachers, including Mrs. DeLuca, have given my son such a wonderful experience this last year. Aside from all the wonderful and FUN academics, the teachers foster a caring and loving environment centered around developing relationships with others and with God. My son’s huge smile at pickup time was enough to tell me that he had had another great day with his teachers and friends. And, my only regret is that he will not be there another year as he’s moving on to TK. I will always treasure the relationships I made with the preschool teachers. Even more so, I will look back at this time as being special because we truly became a part of the Saint Mel community and family!
We chose Saint Mel Catholic School because we wanted an environment where our children are taught the same morals we teach at home; and where they are challenged academically. The teachers at Saint Mel have consistently demonstrated that they are dedicated to educating, as well as genuinely caring for, their students. We currently have two children at Saint Mel and plan on sending our third. The school has been a wonderful experience not only for our children, but for our family. We have found a warm sense of community where teachers and parents work together to help develop academic excellence, respect for one another and the basic moral values of life. Our children have learned life skills at Saint Mel that they will carry with them throughout life. Sait Mel Catholic School has truly been a blessing to our family!
