Preschool Teacher

Hello! I am excited to return to St. Mel School and to step into the role of a preschool team member. St. Mel holds a special place for me, as I previously served as a 2nd Grade Instructional Aide for three years. It was a privilege to support our students during such a significant period of their faith formation, especially as they prepared for their sacraments. My background also includes working with toddlers at a Montessori childcare center, which helped shape my understanding of early childhood development. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville, as well as earning an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education through Los Rios Community College District.

This dual academic focus will allow me to integrate a comprehensive approach to nurturing the intellectual and spiritual development of young children. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy baking, gardening, and outdoor activities. These hobbies often serve as sources of inspiration for innovative and engaging classroom activities.

I can’t wait to embark on this new journey with our youngest learners because there’s nothing more encouraging than seeing the positive impact of my work as children grow and discover the world around them.
