I have been blessed to be part of Catholic education my entire life, from preschool through graduate school. I grew up in the Sacramento Diocese and attended Holy Family School in Citrus Heights. I later continued my education at Saint Mary’s College of California in Moraga—Go Gaels!—where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal and Civic Studies, Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, Administrative Services Credential, and Master of Arts in Educational Administration.
Catholic school has shaped who I am both personally and professionally and I feel called to give back to the same kind of faith-filled community that inspired me. As principal, my goal is to help create a Christ-centered environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and socially. I also strive to support our dedicated teachers and staff in their vocation, and to build strong partnerships with families so that together we can nurture each child’s unique gifts.
My husband, Brian, is also a proud product of Catholic school. We have been married for 14 years and are blessed with a daughter who will be attending Saint Mel. As both a parent and principal, I feel even more connected to our mission and am deeply invested in our school’s success.
Outside of school, our family enjoys traveling, cheering on the Sacramento Kings, and spending time together at movie nights. These moments help keep us grounded and remind me of the importance of family life, which I hope to nurture and support in our school community as well.
I truly believe in the power of Catholic education to form compassionate leaders, lifelong learners, and faith-filled individuals who will make a difference in the world. I feel incredibly blessed to be leading Saint Mel School and to walk alongside our students, families, and faculty each day in faith and learning.
