Molly Nichols

I can honestly say I have been in Catholic education my entire life. I attended Sacred Heart School, St. Francis High School, and St. Mary’s College in Moraga where I earned my BA and my teaching credential My first teaching job was in 1990 at Sacred Heart Parish School in East Sacramento. The same school I attended. I taught on and off there for 12 years while raising my four boys, all of whom attended Sacred Heart School. I took a small break from teaching but decided to return to it in 2007 when Mrs. Nagel hired me to teach PE here at St.Mel. The following year I became the Athletic Director and taught PE, religion, and grammar. I was asked to teach 7th grade seven years ago. This was a hard decision for me to make but I am glad I decided to take on the challenge. I really enjoy working with the older students, they definitely entertain me. During my free time, I love to hang out with my friends and family.
