I have been a part of the St. Mel School community as a teacher for four years now. I graduated from California State University Sacramento with a degree in Liberal Studies. I have been involved in school choirs, church choirs and theater productions throughout my life. This love of music from early on has been the foundation of my love of teaching music appreciation for grades preschool through 8th grade. I also have the privilege of leading the children’s choir for grades 4th through 8th.
The past two years now I’ve taken great joy in directing the Spring musical. Art has also been a passion of mine, and a subject I have regularly taken additional classes for in order to expand my knowledge. I enjoy watching the growth of creativity in the students I teach in both skill and expression. It is a privilege to be able to facilitate so many creative activities here at St. Mel and witness to so much talent from our students.
