Seasonal Celebrations
Christmas Pageant
Students in grades Preschool through Eight participate in the annual Christmas Pageant. The pageant is a long-standing treasured tradition that is celebrated in the evening during the third week in December.
Living Stations of the Cross
The Seventh Graders solemnly re-enact the 14 Stations of the Cross in this Passion play to all St. Mel School students and families during Holy Week. In addition, the students share this moving drama in the church for the parish community on Good Friday.
Celebrations
The study body participates in the following special seasonal celebrations: Blessing of the Animals, the Lighting of the Advent wreath, the Recitation of the Holy Rosary, and May Crowning.
Due to Covid-19, all Seasonal Celebrations during the 2020-2021 school year will be virtual.
